Why are you selling on Ebay and advertising on BST? This does not work for me! Just saying. Good luck.

I don't know ksammut. Never met him, never messaged him, never bought from him, but people list their eBay, GreatCollections, and Heritage Auction links here all of the time.

Try thinking outside of the box. This seller may have something you would like to purchase and therefore you can make an offer here through the pm function and save you both a few dollars on buy price and selling fees.

It's been generally held practice (though perhaps not as prevalent nowadays) that eBay (or other) auctions have eBay noted in the title for those who just want to buy at a fixed price. But for a fixed price sale, this is someone just pointing out the items listed. No different than if someone links their website where it may be easier to show lots of items with many photos or various categories.

No harm, no foul as far as this 20-year forum member is concerned.

I've never had to pay a fee as a buyer.

I don't agree, the higher prices you pay are a pass-along in the buy price due to the Ebay fees.

I buy plenty on eBay because they have what I want at better prices than elsewhere. And I sell tons to lots of buyers all over the world. So it would seem you’re wrong. Maybe some coins are overpriced, but that’s true whenever you look, eBay or dealer sites or your local dealer or some tables at a show.

That would be true of EVERYTHING you buy. Retailers have to pay shipping, rent, insurance, salaries, electric bill, taxes, etc., etc., etc. It's all passed on to you and me.
