2004 P Jefferson Nickel with some sort of clash. Any opinions as to what this maybe?

Hello - it appears there may be 
some sort of clash on the obverse of this nickel. It looks to me like the reverse of a Lincoln penny. Anyone else seeing the same thing or have any opinions as to what this maybe? Thanks for taking a look.

I see no evidence of die clashing - I do see a stained surface Area on the obverse in your photos

Based on the pictures, I would agree with Fred... it is a stain. Likely come off if soaked in acetone for a while. Definitely not a clash.... Cheers, RickO
That’s not how mine look. Get a leather strap, a good hammer and a couple coins and you can do much better 😉
