Best possible grade is MS60 details due to the deep gouges.
It's beat up pretty bad. It might get a Details grade.
Looks like it will get an "AU details" grade. Based on what appears to be a rub on the cheek and the chin.
This coin will not receive a grade that makes the submission worthwhile. It might help to look at some of the Ike registry sets and the clads that have graded in the MS66 to 67 range. The Ike clads are more difficult to find in an attractive uncirculated grade (66-67) than most think.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
I sure would be tempted to make a “pocket piece “ out of that one. To me it just misses on the album list but screams pocket piece.
They have a certain heft to them that is pleasant 😉

I would go in the MS62/63 area ... but as others have said, it is cheaper to buy one already slabbed better than that than to pay for grading.
Lots of hits - that reverse is pretty reflective - polished at one time????? AU details

I am seeing it more like an AU50 with some serious hits to the obverse that might make it "Details".
AU. Worth $1 and not worth submitting. If you thought that coin was worth submitting you need to slow down and learn how to grade before you even consider sending coins in for TPG grading.
I would say AU and quite possibly details as well.... Nice old coin and the last of the big dollars... Cheers, RickO
AU. MS61ish at best otherwise.
