I've done it a few times and it feels good. Here's the last Walker I put in this 2 album set most recently.

Also finished the Walkers, but did stick a few UNCs from the 40's in the LOC album since they weren't too expensive and look so nice. Never finished the SLH album, that was a tough one.

Loaded same pic twice, lol.
I have some complete sets. However, I do not store them in folders. I do not like the plastic slides in folders, or the coins slipping between the cardboard. I keep most of my completed circulaed sets in coin tubes for long term storage and protection.

But but but! You can't see the coins?!? š³š±šØ
I just picked these two up. Had a bunch of Kennedy halves in cardboard 2x2 with staples that were liberated from their Whitman blue box coffins where I never looked at them.. I guess that's the attraction to me. It just keep everything so neat and orderly, even though I'll probably never finish most of these sets. Just seemed so disorganized in before. I didn't even really know what I had in there.

Put together in the late 60's or early 70's all from circulation.

Here's a Littleton Buffalo Nickel Album.

Completed a Dansco Walker album around 12 years ago when I was unemployed - most of the coins were bought with money I made from collecting and recycling aluminum cans...........

I did a Kennedy half set years ago... Stopped around 2010or 2011 I think... Packed away now for quite a while. Cheers, RickO
I decided years ago that I'm not willing to invest in whole set, and just complete up to 1861.
Only 4 to go but they will tougher ones.
All my collections started off in a Whitman and then ended up in a Dansco eventually. For storage purposes, the coins now languish in tubes and the albums separately in different boxes.
Following is not a Whitman but another similar type of album picked up from Hobby Lobby last year and put together by my then fourteen year old kid exclusively through CRH finds the good old fashioned way of collecting, after introducing that fun activity to him.

Finished this off earlier this year. 'X' coins were the ones in the book when found in the recycle bin. Checked coins I purchased mainly on the bay.
Wow, great sets! Iām working on Barber halves at the moment, but this thread is inspiring-I may start working on Walkers as well!
Here's a low-ball set I started on and kind of quit.
Guess I will be perusing eBay this weekend.
This one was fun, mostly finished it out at melt. I did buy the keys stabbed and cracked them out. Trick was finding ones without cleaning!
Happy Birthday to you @moursund
Here are Granny and Pa's Whitman w/ their Franklins
Archive pics of my peace dollars in a Whitman before moving them to a Dansco and then starting the upgrade process to slabbed coins.
Edited to correct the orientation of pics
