Apologies if there's a great thread discussing this that I missed, but aside from design differences, is there any indication of differences in mintages for the two types. Did they just roughly start T2 midway through 2021 and we can expect similar mintages for both?

The break was at 6 months, but if any Type 1 inventory is leftover the APs are forced to buy some of the leftovers with their Type 2
Mintage is to demand capacity willing
Mintage figures by months each year : https://www.usmint.gov/about/production-sales-figures/bullion-sales?program=American+Eagle&+AmericatheBeautifulSilverBullion5ozCointype=&+AmericanBuffalotype=&+AmericanEagletype=Sales+totals+by+Month&AmericatheBeautifulSilverBullion5ozCoinSalestotalsbyMonthyear=&AmericatheBeautifulSilverBullion5ozCoinYear-datedcoinssoldyear=&AmericanBuffaloSalestotalsbyMonthyear=&AmericanBuffaloYear-datedcoinssoldyear=&AmericanEagleSalestotalsbyMonthyear=1140&AmericanEagleYear-datedcoinssoldyear=
I was just looking at mine yesterday.... So I can tell you where a couple of them are.... just a drop in the bullion bucket though... Cheers, RickO
Buying bullion ASE's - now that the T1 are harder to find, I'm getting used to the T2. Still favored the T1.
