Merry Christmas to me!
Just picked this up from my LCS. NGC's pictures are no bueno - way too dark as compared to the coin in hand. Both sides of the coin have just a hint of blue or violet, especially on Ms Liberty herself, with nice even toning. I'm no bust half expert but looks like a O-108 variety but would love verification from the gurus out there.

Thanks, my tastes in coins are pretty eclectic in nature... I buy what I like on any given day.

So lovely in the solid AU+ grade. Original and un-messed with over the decades. Sweet.

Plenty of meat left on that one, I like
Yeah, even nicer in hand than my picture or NGC can show. Looks like it's never been played with. That was the reason I grabbed it. I'm beginning to gain more appreciation for genuine toning as this one exhibits. The mild hint of blue and violet caught my eye - especially on a piece like this.

Love it!
I bet that blue toning looks pretty cool in hand.
I wish I could describe my collecting habits as 'eclectic'. For now, they're best described as just plain 'scatter shot'

I love the nice, golden, autumnal colors.
A testament to it's originality.

Sweet. Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Merry Christmas to you as well
I like the detail remaining on that coin... I would consider it better than 53.... Cheers, RickO
Nice pick up!

Thanks but I'm a slacker compared to you. You've been busy lately. A new 16K roof put a dent into my coin budget this fall... maybe a few new additions in 2022.

I concur. Perhaps a crossover to hosts or get it CAC-ed with a bean sticker?

I usually prefer our host's slabs to NGC but this one looks great in their slab. Any CAC coins I own were purchased with the bean. I've never submitted coins on my own to CAC but may contact one of our local CAC members on this one... actually have a few I'm considering - Thanks.
