1939 Jefferson Nickel DDR question.

I bought this some time ago, thinking it was a cherry pick Monticello DDR, but then thought it wasn't. I know with the verdigris it is basically worthless, but in your opinions is it a doubled Monticello? Sorry @cmerlo1, did not intend to hijack your thread.

    It may be one of the lesser 1939 Doubled Dies (there are 18 different), but it's not the biggie (FS-801).

    Based on that picture, I would say machine doubling on the M.... Cheers, RickO

    Here's FS-801. Yours, if a DDR, is one of the lesser ones as MWallace said. I don't see the extra thickness on the lettering that would indicate FS-802, either.
