I’m new to this whole forum thing but I was looking through a handful of foreign coins and found this. 31.75mm and reeded edge.

It is an advertising token from the Majestic Range Co. reflecting their Grand Prize that they won at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis. It is a pretty common token and is cataloged as 61-220 in Bob Hendershott's 1904 Exposition catalog. It is easy to find in vf to au condition and nice uncirculateds show up quite often. I find no record of a Himalayan sales office. Images courtesy of tokencatalog:

    Wow. Nice call.

Excellent, and fast, identification. This forum never ceases to amaze me. I had no idea what that 'coin' was...could not make out the features enough to even determine a possible country of origin. Then an expert nailed it... Thanks @tokenpro . Cheers, RickO

  • Looks like the “foreign coin” I bought wasn’t a foreign coin at all! Thanks a lot @tokenpro and everyone else!
