To buy one 😉. They disappeared quickly. Now if someone is interested they can have one 😉. It’s been an hour hopefully those who missed get one. Saturday morning! Got to love em. 2:00 pm, mid-week, for sell off of Morgan’s and now Saturday morning. Sunday morning and 7:30 am est have been fruitful. Now they have changed their plan of attack 🤨

All better. Sorry MFeld.
No need to apologize. You and some people know what “uncirculated set up is available for purchase” means. But many others won’t. It looked/looks like it could possibly be a registry set up for sale on the wrong forum.

I just added 99 and it was ready to check out 🙀. Canceled but a few for sure. These usually sell 2-3 hundred thousand so they aren’t but half way there And who knows this year 🤔
From 2005-2010 the mint used a special striking process for the BU sets that set them apart from business strikes of the era. I wonder if they will ever do that again? It seems like new BU sets are just regular business strikes. Definitely one of the more esoteric parts of modern clad coinage.
JBK. I dang near had a stroke. Goofed up new thread title 😂. Couldn’t find the old thread. Looks like their gunna leave them for awhile. Glad you got some. They may be low mintage but as JM and others have said “ 200,000 or so is not low.
JZ 😉😂🙀
@Jzyskowski1 Got one. Thanks for the heads up! I just happened to check the forum on my break at work. I knew right away from your title. I had put this off thinking there would be plenty of time to order and they were gone in a few weeks. I had been watching hoping they would come back up. Signed up, but didn't get a notice from the mint. Now I'd just like to pick up a CC and S Morgan if they come up again.
Do you think they are caught up and produced more of these?, were they cancellations? (I wouldn't think so with the limited number sold and demand still out there) or ?
They sent me an email about refunding my order amout but still have not done so for the order placed on Sept. 28th (and USPS tracking still says Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item as of October 11, 2021)

I am very skeptical about ordering one on the mint site now.
I sure don’t blame you. Is there a relative or friend who could order you one?
Sorry, that sounds silly to me now that I look at it.
Sometimes, no most of the time, the mint really bothers me. 😉
It’s in Denver

Thanks.
Good luck with your's.
I had lost hopes of it resurfacing on the mint site and bought it from eBay paying extra. Mighty disappointed with the quality of the coins and this probably is the end of the road for my mint sets acquisition.
Will check out the Morgan and Peace proofs when they are released but other than that the mint is not going to get anymore money from me.
I have heard from a couple different sources that the quality of the first issues had problems. Looks like mine will get here soon. I’ll post pictures and try to keep track of the responses. The Morgan’s and peace dollar just re-released have not been what appears to be returns or somehow rejected. They seem to be better than first go around 🤨
Uncirculated Philly and Denver half , 2- quarters, dime , nickel and cent. Same as previous years except 2 quarters instead of 5 😉
The dollar coin also 😉
Mine is here. The phillys look like junk and the Denver is so so.
After my visit to the psychiatrist I’ll post some pictures, if they don’t remand me to a 72 hour welfare hold. What is my problem with this illusion that they care. Junk. 🤨

You would think that for the price of these they would run off some batches and find a method where they don't get so banged up like using smaller holding bags, shorter drop from the press and such. There really should be no reason not to expect MS66-MS67 quality as the average coin quality in these sets.
For those that malign moderns, I offer that they are worth face
If you’re keeping your dime set together, I’d say buy ungraded or graded singles. But outside of that and inside of collecting the set they are worth a buy at some time because you’re going to get much, much, much worse odds roll searching
They provide coins needed for album collectors and they were working on the bonus W series available only with the proof or uncirculated sets, so they sold a lot of them. I will throw it in my 2021 example type box with a proof set and type one ase and type two ase. The quarters are interesting because the Tuskegee is the end of the series and Washington crossing the Delaware is one year only. It’s a mess and I don’t think next year I’ll be continuing to collect them. Thanks 🙏
Their every bit as funky in hand, if not more 😉
Santa’s on his way. For all my complaining I am very great full. It’s only coins. Nothing compared to the people who are here in abundance and give freely of their time. Thanks. Merry Christmas
Then there’s this. No doubt it’s a mess. I agree with what your saying and appreciate your input. Buying singles is smarter than roll hunting 😉 I’m also using a forum member to help.
This year's terrible quality from the mint is an understatement and to rub salt into the wounds, I paid extra to pick up this set from feeBay
Did that ONLY to complete the ATB set and is indeed the end of the road as far as the uncirculated coin set is concerned (same goes for the Proof sets as well).
Stopped buying the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set two years ago (love to pick up bargains from secondary market) since they all are slowly starting to deteriorate inside the capsules. Perhaps time to ditch them.

So they are worthless to hang onto? I guess.
No, definitely not. Money wise? Yes. Investment wise? Yes. But......there's more to collecting U.S. coins than thinking about profit or "are they worthless" as you say. I tried to order the P&D set earlier this year. No go. I was VERY disappointed. But.....I scored last week and they are in the mail.......I'm happy about that. Can't wait to get them!
I got mine a couple months ago and yes poor quality must be the norm as I nearly sent mine back but decided to keep it. I've found nicer 2021 quarters in circulation.
Very interesting. It's funny my set looked amazing. I thought they had a proof like appearance (not cameo of course). I missed out in Sept and found out last week from jzysowski1's post. I really wanted them for the last ATB and one off Crossing the Delaware. My set arrived Thursday and my only comment was why the quarters were placed opposite (obverse/reverse) to the other coins. I'll have to give them another look.

Thx a million @Jzyskowski1 - I got one.
Was a bit bothered that they came and went so fast a couple months ago. Glad to have another chance.

I like them because in this pandemic era I can't get new rolls from the bank.
I missed the JFK rolls and there is also the one year quarter. The set might be a sleeper.

I had set up a reminder for these sets and I just got a notification from the mint that these sets are available. It only took them 3 days to tell me.
They sent me an email about refunding my order amout but still have not done so for the order placed on Sept. 28th (and USPS tracking still says Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item as of October 11, 2021)
Now the site https://catalog.usmint.gov/uncirculated-coin-set-2021-21RJ.html?cgid=2021-product-schedule says
Item Number: 21RJ
Mintage Limit: None
Product Limit: None
Household Order Limit: None
I am very skeptical about ordering one on the mint site now.

Are they sent out on each order uniformally?
No idea what you mean

The uncirculated coin sets are described on the product page
A P set and a D set
Unfortunately no inno-bucks, which I think is wrong.
They come sealed in brown cardboard boxes for some unknown reason. The proof set cardboard boxes are resealable.

They’ve never treated these like a premium product. For the money I wish they would.
This year is supposedly a bad year.

Some of those P defects look similar I.e. the extreme chatter on the centers
Defects in the plastic can be such that it is throughly convincing that the coin has defects when in reality the defect is in the plastic.

I still like the new Washington quarters, too bad it's a one off and the mint doesn't even sell them by the roll or bag.

I believe those rim scrapes on the dollar coin are from the edge lettering process. (Not that it's an excuse).
