If you have the money it can be completed in an afternoon on the internet, Morgan dollars are not rare. Again no years are tough to find some are just more expensive.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Just a date set should be fairly easy in a quality grade.

Morgans are awesome! The 1895 is easily the hardest date. 1893 and 1894 are tricky too. The 95-S was well-made but it’s going to take $5K at least for a nice one. For 1893, P mints are available and can look good at the 63 level. For 1894 you will likely want the 94-S. They are tough to locate too but you can find a good one with patience. No other date is really a challenge but you can certainly spice it up by adding different mints, PL or DMPL coins, and toned coins.
I think you could complete a nice set in about 2-3 years if you are selective on the tough ones but not willing to pay huge money for high grade key dates.
You can read through all of the “My Morgan Collection” posts I’ve made over the past few months for more details about every date or send me a PM if you’re interested.
Some dates in PL are nice...

I'm working on a set in AU in a Dansco album because I wanted to have more of a matched set. I had this set just about done years ago, without the 1893 and a couple of other dates... but the set ranged from AG to MS64. Some of the coins were just hole fillers.
Like David said... the 1895 is the toughest date with the '93 and '94 being a bit of a challenge, but as others have already indicated. .. if you have unlimited money, the coins are out there.

That is a fun project.... I put together a set of just the CC Morgans... The full set would have been a task I was not willing to undertake - too many other interests. Cheers, RickO
