How difficult is it to complete it in graded mint state? Which years are the tough ones? A price guide only tells you so much!

    If you have the money it can be completed in an afternoon on the internet, Morgan dollars are not rare. Again no years are tough to find some are just more expensive.

    Just a date set should be fairly easy in a quality grade.

    I'm working on a set in AU in a Dansco album because I wanted to have more of a matched set. I had this set just about done years ago, without the 1893 and a couple of other dates... but the set ranged from AG to MS64. Some of the coins were just hole fillers.

    Like David said... the 1895 is the toughest date with the '93 and '94 being a bit of a challenge, but as others have already indicated. .. if you have unlimited money, the coins are out there.

    Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;

    Successful BST transactions with: SilverEagles92; Ahrensdad; Smitty; GregHansen; Lablade; Mercury10c; copperflopper; whatsup; KISHU1; scrapman1077, crispy, canadanz, smallchange, robkool, Mission16, ranshdow, ibzman350, Fallguy, Collectorcoins, SurfinxHI, jwitten, Walkerguy21D, dsessom.

    That is a fun project.... I put together a set of just the CC Morgans... The full set would have been a task I was not willing to undertake - too many other interests. Cheers, RickO
