1999-P Connecticut Quarter toning only on one side

I have a 1999-P mint set and the Connecticut Quarter is only toning on one side and it is very uniformed toning all throughout the side and coin. Is it worth opening up the set and weighing the coin or is this toning?
How do I post the images to this discussion? Sorry, this is my first time posting something. Thank you in advance for your advice and help.

It is almost certainly tonight and it would almost certainly not be worth getting it graded or taken out of the set. It would have to be very high grade and very dramatic, and obviously naturally, toning.
As for posting images, that subject comes up about daily lately so plenty of threads out there for it. It depends on how you are posting. Could be as easy as drag and dropping your file, clicking on the picture icon and following instructions, or using the image link and linking to an already posted image.

Welcome to the forum!
Your images worked and it looks like you might have some nice golden toning starting.
It's not enough color at this point to make it worth grading...... maybe in another 20 years.
As TurtleCat explained it is toning and the toning itself looks characteristic of toning you typically find on these quarters.

Thank you so much for posting the images and thank you for the advice and comments.
Just to demonstrate that what you're seeing with your coins is typical here are a few examples I have.

These were in mint bags and, honestly, I'm not sure why I am bothering to save them.

I say keep the set intact and check in on it periodically. You might have a real beauty in several years.
Yep... just regular tarnish.... Keep it and maybe in ten or twelve years it will sell for a premium to tarnish collectors. Cheers, RickO
By then, @RickO may be in his dotage, and fall in love with toners...
@moursund.... Chronologically, I am already there.... but will never be a tarnish worshipper. Physically, by the way, I am still capable of strenuous, continuous activity, and other feats I will not elaborate here.
Cheers, RickO
