I would like it. Can’t decide which one I would root for.

    I’m Patriots first, Brady second.

It was a tough loss for the Bills, but they play the Panthers next weekend, so the Bills basically have a bye week.

Tampa Bay laid down in the second half, including Brady. When you have the opposing wolf’s throat exposed, you tear it out. Tampa can’t play like this in the playoffs.

I doubt very much that Brady will let that happen as he wants another title badly.

    Perhaps without Josh Allen.

If he is going to miss a game or two and they fall out of it they should shut him down for the rest of the season. The kid is too valuable to get all banged up for nothing

If I remember correctly, he came up limping after a designed run where he landed awkwardly.

I didnt see the first half but watched the second on a treadmill with the sound off

    my objective observations:

Tampa won the game but played like crap. even saw Tom Terrific off the mark on some throws I've seen him routinely make in his sleep. one was a crossing route to Godwin on a 3rd down with no Bill in sight and Brady almost bounced it to him

also saw two very crucial coin flips that went Tampa's way. again I had the sound down, but based on what someone said earlier in this thread, Romo was clamoring for a flag on that 3rd down play near the goal line when Buffalo was about to bust the door down and complete the improbable comeback. I saw that DB jostling with Diggs and thought to myself, "here it comes." but it never did.

and that 3rd n short run by Fournette in OT when Tampa was pinned was a rather fortuitous spot by the refs I'd say, because at first blush I didnt think he got there. even after watching the slo-mo replay it was nebulous to my aging eyes. if they deem him short there, Tampa would have (in all likelihood) punted the football and Buffalo would have ended up with good field position -- only needing three for the dubya

bottom line: the second-half Bucs I watched yesterday wont beat Arizona, Green Bay or even Dallas playing like that

Bucs seem to take their foot off the gas when they get a lead. Seems like something that better coaching can fix. We will see if it hurts them in the playoffs, but I honestly don't think they will get 3 score leads early in the game (by 3rd quarter) in the playoffs so probably won't really matter. If they do lose a game where they are up 14 though, everyone will point to their blowing leads when in reality 2 score leads early in a game just aren't that big in the NFL. Just takes a score and a stop and suddenly the game is tight.

The NFL is starting to remind me of the NBA, where a big lead early in the game is basically meaningless. With the explosion of offense in the NFL almost any team can score touchdowns on back to back drives rendering most leads irrelevant. Just this week look at Vikings/Steelers, Cowboys/Redskins, Bucs/Bills, and Ravens/Browns, All 4 of those games one team had a 3+ score lead and the other team had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie or take the lead.

another thing to add in regards to the bucs is the late season addition of a fresh antonio brown. while they have a really really good offense without him, when he gets added to the mix, they seem practically unstoppable. when Mike Evans is your 3rd WR, that is a pretty potent group.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Yes it is. But the script for the NFL is Brady vs BB. Anything that deviates from the Hollywood ending would jeopardize the obvious. Tampa Bay was called for zero defensive holding penalty and zero pass interference. If the refs aren’t calling obvious PI’s why call a questionable call in OT, unless it’s on 3rd down and the pass is incomplete? My first post in months because f$$k the NFL and the bias. Diggs was mugged all game without a call. Tell me how it’s justified especially on this obvious pull of the jersey? Don’t tell me out of position. How many times have you seen flags fly from all directions from other officials on such an obvious infraction? I’ve seen it all year with the Bills. New England has been chosen and you can cash your tickets to the Patriots- Bucs Super Bowl today.

It's Tom Brady, of course the NFL wants him to win. Screw the Bills is the NFL's motto.

I want to feel bad for the Bills but after they lost to the Jaguars a few weeks ago I say screw em. That game hurt a lot of people so I’m no longer secretly wishing them luck.

    I’m totally serious too

that was undoubtedly a bad non-call by the officials. should have been at least holding or PI.

However... there are bad non-calls ALL THE TIME in the NFL. you could call holding on the offensive line 80% of the time.

I by no means believe there is a conspiracy that the NFL desires TB to win, or any other team/player. the conspiracy would be too big. too long. and impossible to keep under wraps. someone would have chirped by now.

If the NFL really wanted brady to win, and was controlling games to make it so, why on earth did they not call the holding/choking that the NYG did to Richard Seymour during the 08 perfect season super bowl? It was blatant and cost NE the all-time best 19-0 record.

    I dont buy it.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
