A couple fun little errors

Nothing major here just a few fun errors that were in the bottom of a box I bought at a show a few weeks ago. A lady had these as she walked around the show, she stopped at my tables I bought everything she had and these were in there. Again nothing crazy just decent grade errors.....

Some great error coins you got there.
I love the metal flow on most of your coins.
Those are both errors as well, large deep struck thru and detached rim (long burr???) issue.
Ok well that helps alot didn't know if it was a planchet error or what, so that helps alot

Some nice little treasures in the bottom of the box, You did well.
Planchet flaw and detached finned rim.
A menagerie of U.S. Mint medals
I don't think the 2000-S Proof is a rim burr. I think the edge is finned and part of it sheared off.
A rim burr occurs before the coin is struck and would be struck into the coin.
EDITED to add last sentence.
Thanks for sharing. Nice variety to get at one time. Peace Roy

I agree as a was searching for my words earlier and finned rim escaped my memory at the time
There is something else going on with that 1965 quarter besides the clip, but I'm not sure what.
The Blakesley effect is as strong as I have ever seen and there is metal flow on the peripheral lettering and date that I wouldn't expect from a normal strike. Can you check the rim, perhaps it was struck with a partial collar.

I'd be smiling looking thru that box
@seanq I think that quarter is broadstruck.

Great stuff!
Those coins are damaged and not allowed to be circulated for commerce, as such, I demand you hand over all those coins to me!
Man those are SWEET!!!!
What a total score - good condition too! Some of those are BUs and look incredible!
Nice - great to see the "Blakesley Effect" on the clips......

Very nice errors. I love now nice the surfaces look.
I'm a big fan of the Mercury dimes and Wheaties, but they all look good.
Coingrats!
Wow... What excellent error finds.. at the bottom of the box. Sounds like she was selling a departed relatives collection. Cheers, RickO
She is suppose to be bringing me some to the office in a few weeks when she comes to visit her family so we will see

Agreed.
This piece could be the textbook illustration for a Blakesley Effect except that everyone would wonder why theirs was not as good.
