2 circular breaks top and bottom weird?

    The two circular breaks are diagnostic of the die marriage as GR-5. This is a common die marriage and the double die cracks are the most frequently found die state.

    Laminations should be classified as defects and not errors.

    Error, defect...either way that one is very cool!
    It's an extremely dramatic planchet flaw. I imagine it raised a few eyebrows back in the day as it circulated.

    Interesting coin with the double die breaks.... I wonder how much longer the die lasted? Are there cud examples out there? Cheers, RickO
