You are invited to a Virtual Visit at a Museum in Hawaii to View Hawaiian Coinage Exhibits

(This thread is inspired by DrDarryl's thread titled, "U.S. Mint and its Hawaii Related Issues" in which I commented:
"There is a small, but worthy numismatic exhibit relating to Hawaiian coinage at the Bishop Museum on Oahu. Worth checking out for those with plans to visit Paradise.")
It took some effort to locate them, but I finally found the photos I took of the referenced "numismatic exhibit relating to Hawaiian coinage at the Bishop Museum on Oahu."
So here is your invitation to join with me on a virtual visit:
As we pull up into the parking lot at the Bishop Museum we are greeted by this Polynesian Island sentinel:
We then enter the hall which pays tribute to Hawaii's succession of Monarchs:
Our attention is then directed to the niche highlighting King Kamehameha III:
As we read the biographical summary of his accomplishments we learn that under his reign was the first Hawaiian coin dated 1847:
Finally, we move in to see the large Copper Cent close up:
Now we move to the largest hall in the museum in search of an expanded numismatic exhibit:
Once in the great room we climb the steps to reach a balcony that circles the edges of the hall on its second level where we encounter the object of our search - the numismatic exhibit relating to Hawaiian coinage:

Thank you for posting. When I spend time away from home, I'm usually ready to go home at the end of my stay. Not so with Hawaii, I never want to leave.
