Sending this 1945 P back for grade review

I do not think this coin qualifies for Full Steps and plan to send it back for an ICG grade review. It is graded MS66FS by ICG and I was told that they would look at it under a grade review and see. What do you think?

I think I would not spend the money to send it back, I see no upside for you.

If you don’t like it sell it at a discount and get a new one that you like.
Hoard the keys.
Looks FS to me.
Despite what folks will tell you ICG gives mostly decent grades ... often more stringent than NGC imo
There seems to be a small die chip or something just above and to the left of the C on the steps. Not sure if that would make it not qualify.

Doesn't look FS to me, but could be the picture. Are you hoping for some bucks from them if they down grade it?
Playing the "full steps" game can cost you significant money. Does it really matter if someone else says it is "full steps" or not? In the end it is just another common date Jefferson Nickel.
Looks like 4FS to me.
Just if I pay for something, it needs to be what I paid for. Just simple. I spoke with Skip and he recommended I return it. It only costs the shipping. So I will see. Can anyone here truly think our forum benefactors would grade this FS?

I think you will give them money and shipping costs for them to tell you it meets their standards for that grade.

Even with the OP's photo it is easy to see the top of the T & C are not doubled.
If you take the time to look on CoinFacts you will see it should show in the photo if there.
Do I think it’s FS? No. Do I see any value in correcting a grade with ICG? No, not unless there’s some windfall to be had if you’re right.
Are you sure that Skip meant that you should return it to the seller for a refund as opposed to returning to ICG? Does ICG offer any financial compensation in the event of a grade/designation downgrade? I understand your stance but all this will do is cost you more money if ICG takes the stance that it meets their standard. And if the coin is downgraded a loss of value as I'm assuming that ICG has no guarantee. If the principal is that important maybe just return the coin to the seller and find one that meets your standard.

Why would I return it to the seller, they sold a graded coin in a holder. Now if the seller said the coin was guaranteed to be a Full Step Jeff then that would be different. The only problem is the ICG grade. And if they do not stand behind it, then I've paid a S/H fee for my education. Had much more expensive education, as I figure most here have. @coinbuf Why would you assume ICG has no warranty. BTW, as far as ICG's coin review warranty, their web page states:
If the coin submitted for review by the Customer receives a lower grade under ICG’s internal review practices than the grade originally assigned, ICG shall, at ICG’s option, either (a) replace the coin, or (b) pay any difference between the current fair market value of such coin at the newly established grade and the current market value of the grade originally assigned to such coin.
I will find out.

yes, from what I see in holders they do it all the time.
Because I have never been to their site, used their service, I do not consider them a top level grading service so I did not expect nor ever hear that they have a warranty program, so I learned something new.

Good luck with your reconsideration. Personally, I would not bother...though I agree, it does not appear to rate the FS designation. Cheers, RickO
Unless they reimburse you the difference, I wouldn't bother, and yes I don't think it is FS either
