I dont think it is the overdate either guys. Just amazing to find a "S" mint in the junk pile with enough meat on it to make it worth lots more than melt. Nice toning to boot! Ill try to get better images of the date to make sure though
I don't think it's the 1918/7 but I'd like to see a better pic of the date area if at all possible.

Great pickup doc. Shame it's not the overdate. I can see the photo's have the dreaded oldage hand shaking photography skills that I have. Was able to get a fair comparison with CoinFacts. Take care.

I sold a similar like that ( minus toning ) for less than melt on eBay once, and buyer left a negative feedback. The only negative that ever stuck in 20 years of sales there.

Excellent. Worth 20Xs over melt, easy.
Edited to add: Is that a 1918/17?!

I don't see the other die markers so I'm 99% sure it isn't. Still a nice pick up for melt plus color, yum.
EDIT: Hmmm. Nope.

Alright. . . all right. I let my imagination get ahead of me.
Still an absolute score and a wonderful album filler.
