The "Hip Abe!"

Lol. Hi guys,
Found this during CRHunting.
Has anyone seen such a perfect area a die chip can land? At first I thought it was just an ordinary rim ding or hit? Closer viewing shows an actual die chip.
Abe sez,"what's happening, dude?" :D

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!

Does it look like PMD? Maybe it's a variety.

No PMD. It surely is convex (raised) not concave

Although not widely known, Abe spent a couple of years as a pirate - then saw the error of his ways and became 'Honest Abe'... and you know the rest of the story. :D;) Cheers, RickO

Could it be a plating bubble? Looks awfully round and pointed to be a die chip. But who knows.

He wore that little stud in his ear throughout his whole life. But he usually wore it in his left ear, so it did not appear on the pennies.
