Going to be tough to GTG with the dark image. From what I see, Id guess MS64.

I’m lost at the scratches on the obverse. I need to study before I commit. I get a details feeling 🤔

    MS 64 PCGS

MS 63/63 on the Anacs Photo Cert

(I might be a bit too harsh but that is my guess based on the hit to the right of the nose and the somewhat splotchy color which can at times hold back the grade....if the luster is strong, it could easily be a higher grade)

    64.

I dont think those are scratches. It looks more like how the coin toned.

Seems like they go across the cheek and neck. Then field to right of neck up to the rim . Your probably right. I think I would like more pictures.

64 but image is too dark to really tell. Lines are from die polishing perhaps? They don’t look like scratching/hairlines to me.

GTG is not easy even from great pictures... and these are not of that quality...However, 64 seems reasonable based on what we have to work with. Cheers, RickO

Hard hit to the date. I say genuine details. Or if it straight grades I would think AU 50 ish. Thanks

    1. This is a tough one because the toning tends to hide the marks on the coin.

    ANACS CERTS 65/65

PCGS Grade- Tough call. The strike from where I sit looks much better than average. If the lustre pops in hand, PCGS could assign a 65. I think 65+ is possible if it pops in hand

Another nice coin and not an easy decision

I agree with @erwindoc 100% on all counts.

I don't see any hairlines or scratches and the only mark of note is through the R in IGWT. The coin appears to have streaky toning and the image is poor likely because the white balance is way off. It looks like an MS64 or MS65 to me. I've attached white balance edited images that might be more realistic-

PCGS 64 probably ANACS 62. They were brutal on some of the coins they graded.

Good to see it in a 65 holder... wonderful coin. Not sure about the ANACS cert... but it’s all subjective. I really thought the strike would likely carry the coin to cert at 65/65.

    Thanks for sharing
