Looks 63 from those pics. Could we get a better set of pics?

I'm going w 65 Those small marks in the obverse field bring it down a bit, but I think the originality and luster bring it up a bit.....

Looks 64 to me. Great strike.
I'll say 64.
The rim dings in the fields of obverse and reverse are minor, but detract - at least under that level of magnification. I would say... MS 64.... A great year and a great coin... (would not be shocked at 65). Cheers, RickO
It may be a stretch but I want to call it MS66
I will go 66. Nice coin!!
PCGS: MS65
ANACS photo cert: MS63/63

Well struck and not an easy decision. I would be estimate PCGS 64+ and the ANACS photocard likely is 65/65.

You are the reason I bought it 15 years ago. You were showing your collection across the street and I fell in love with the idea of obv/rev grades so I started buying the ANACS photo certificates. I don't remember for sure but I believe I paid around $40 for this one and was truly glad I did, as of all the ones I had this one made quite a profit when I sold it 10 years later.
I had several IHC's and 1 Peace and 1 Morgan if I remember correctly. Then they started getting expensive and a little harder to find, so I moved back to other things.
Jim
edited to add: BTW, as I sold it raw I still have the photo certificate.

I'll say MS64, but wouldn't be shocked at 65...

I’m in the 64 crowd

They sure are getting hard to find. I used to see 8 to 10 of them listed every week on Ebay. About half were Morgans. Now I'm lucky to see 1 a week, and I usually have to pay pretty strong money for them.
MS 65 at best.

Well done coinkat, you nailed them both.
I was accurate as far as ANACS is concerned...Good enough for me! That photo above, heck that thing is a rock solid GEM.
nice image... remains a tough and judgment call. I saw the field marks above IN GOD WE TRUST as tipping the scale to 64 but not without a +
nice coin
