I just had to revitalize this thread with images of a Christmas gift I received from a generous forum member.
This Conder Token (DH-952) has some of the most amazing die fractures I have ever seen. It was a challenge to get really good photos taken through the slab. I hope these are worthy.
First, a photo of an early die state example.

.
Now feast your eyes on the MASSIVE die fractures on this one . . . . . !
First in the denticles at 12:00. Then emanating from Geo's right shoulder, through his hair and cranium, and over to the W of Wales . . . . . .
I cannot imagine many more of these wonderful tokens were struck AFTER this one.

Here's one I recently found while coin roll hunting.

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Cracks and cuds. Those dies are really starting to fall apart!
The obverse picture was lost several years ago, but as I remember this is a 1972-D.
"Flying Saucer attacks Monticello"
or
"Monticello wearing a mask".
Take your pick.
You guys have some really neat coins. The “character “ that each coin is imparted with the cracked dies is most interesting to me! Keep them coming!

Obverse at 10:30 and 6:00 o'clock.
Reverse at 8:45.
For some reason, I am totally smitten by the rugged look of this old PPIE Florida State Fund medal - die cracks and all.

What's most amazing about that nickel is the sharpness of the steps on a die failure that pronounced.
Looks like it failed way too early in its life.
