the area in question is a pivot point of sorts, as the flan was being "squeezed" between the dies.
if you notice the stretch lines from that point outward increase in distance unlike what we usually see with o/c coins. i'd say it has a lot to do with the position of another flan being positioned awkwardly and perhaps even tilted.
if you look at the corresponding side it is almost like it about to be "ripped" apart.

Chris- I can’t spoil it for everyone😉
I'm really glad there are people in our hobby who like pieces like this so I don't have to.

do you have the mate?
is what is going on with the "C" in CENT anything to note?
Absolutely
Still waiting for someone to figure it out
I wish
The die crack is nicely seen on both sides. Raised on one side, incuse on the other.
Cud to the left of "C" in "CENT"?
close but no cigar. The seller said it was a cud, I think he was wrong. Think about it a little more.
Clipped Planchet?
Bingo.
Really interesting coin.
1) Off Center with Die Crack
2) Mirror Brockage of a ...
3) ... Clipped and,
4) ... Die cracked coin.
What does the label say?
“See Addendum”
Many times they do not list (or miss) all the errors going on on a coin.
I could come out and straight say what it is.
(or) I could let people use their brains and think about it for a bit and see if they can figure it out for themselves.
The reverse should be facing out in that slab
Hmm.. there is alot going on with this coin.
i didn't see anyone comment so my 2c is that:

Snip...
So, you are saying that the die cap was from a clipped planchet?
That's a new one on me...

Well there is certainly something going on that is not just a normal brockage.
To me, it looks like a clip but your theory of a broken die cap could also explain this coin.
I am really not sure what is going on with your coin. Here is a cracked cap. Yours look completely different. Mike Diamond might have some input...

A "lot of things going on" is an understatement.
It still graded a MS64 which puzzles me.
