S mint mark on 2021 Morgan dollar

Does anyone know why the S mint mark on the 2021 Morgan dollar is so small? I can barely make it out with a magnifying glass. On the other hand the D on the Denver Morgan is easy to make out. Oh well, maybe its just me.

Perhaps San Fran was more embarrassed about their quality
Pretty similar to the actual tiny S used on the 1921 Morgans.
The sizes of the mintmarks are in keeping with their size on the 1921 Morgans. Much smaller then the rest of the series.
The question might be why they were so reduced in 1921?
I noticed that in the pictures I have seen of the S Morgans.... I did check the originals (pictures) and correlated the similarity. Cheers, RickO
I have some S mint mark Morgan’s and that is correct, it’s an eye test chart!
