Thanks to Baltimore Show, Finished My Liberty Seated Basic Type Set!

The final addition was the 1859-O Seated Dollar, which I picked up from Ray Hinkelman at the Eye Appealing Coins booth shortly after the show opened to the public yesterday. The lowest grade in the set is AU50 (the half and Trade) and the highest is MS65 (the dime). My Registry Set rank is 51, and I'd like to break the Top 50 so will be looking for some nice upgrades. Which coin would you suggest upgrading? I am leaning towards the Trade as it lacks the character of the rest of the set IMO.

Very nice! And yes, the Trade dollar would be the best one to upgrade because it’s the only one with noticable wear

Nice run of coins!
Yes, I also suggest it be the Trade dollar for a trade up.
If you want a aesthetically matching set, then yes, the Trade Dollar. Cheers, RickO
Great looking set. If it were me, I would look for a business strike quarter and I would upgrade the half and trade dollar.

That 1868 quarter looks amazing.

It is an awesome coin!![:+1: :+1:](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/+1.png)
@P0CKETCHANGE This is an awesome set and a great accomplishment!
While this is done now, have you coinsidered adding Arrows and Rays coins? Or possibly even a Gobrecht dollar in the future?
Love the 20 cent piece.
Thank you! And yes, the quarter is one of my collection favorites. The outer purple toning in the photo is a deep violet that brightens up like the TrueView under light. Check out additional video/photos here. It has a CAC sticker that I need to send to JA to reapply.
To your question about the arrows and rays varieties, I'm not planning to go that route. Originally I set out to do the 7070 Registry set, but the number of Liberty Seated varieties is not particularly interesting to me. I'd rather aggregate the funds I would have split among them to one example per series. The Gobrecht Dollar though, definitely, although I know very little about them as it stands, so will need to educate myself on the series.

I agree... the Trade Dollar is nice, but upgrading it will help out the overall eye appeal of the set.
...I'm absolutely in lust over that 20-center!

The 20c is my favorite coin in my entire collection. It's incomprehensible to me that I'd ever find a nicer example, at least within my budget.

That 39 half dime looks familiar. Nice looking set!
