Just to link this into coins - the N72 W. Duke Sons & Company Coins of All Nations from 1889 shows off the coins of various nations, including some that no longer exist. Neat little cross over set, here's an example:

Previous transactions: Wondercoin, goldman86, dmarks, Type2

Looks like there is a bug in the system and new users have there posts defaulted to the the coin forum. Unsure if every new user gets defaulted or if its just the ones that fail to chose the proper category.

I'm sure it's just as annoying for the new sports card collectors as it is for the numismatic members. Hopefully @HeatherBoyd and the rest of the team are working on a fix. Not looking forward to another weekend of sports card posts clogging page 1 of the coin forum.

If you are on the main page and don't select a category, this is the default.

The card threads wouldn't clog up the first page if people didn't comment on them.

Ya but where’s the fun in that. Some pretty funny stuff and sometimes the OP plays along. Come on, there’s not that many and in the interest of gaining new members. I find having a little fun and being welcoming might help gain a few newbies or not. 🤔

I just pass by those posts.... Opened a few when they started appearing, then realized it would continue, so stopped and just ignored them. I am just a mellow guy... unless you walk on my lawn... :D;) Cheers, RickO

That just might be a good idea.

Who knew coin collectors were so insular? Guess no one here collects both.

Previous transactions: Wondercoin, goldman86, dmarks, Type2

    I have several, somewhere.

I collect both. The card hobby, especially vintage unopened product, has been white hot for the past few years.
