Short show report - Greater Atlanta Coin Show 11/14/21 (corrected the date)

Spent about 1 1/2 hours at the show today, 11 AM to about 12:30 PM. The place was packed.
Asked my favorite bullion dealers what their spread was on junk 90%, one was buying at 20X and selling at 21X, another was buying at 20X and selling at 21.5X. A third was selling 1 ounce Buffalos for $1975 and said he was buying at $1955. Several dealers had small amounts of 90% for sale at 20X. Two friends that I brought with me spent a few hundred dollars each on dimes and halves at 20X.
I was able to pick up a 1992W proof Olympic $5 and a 1993W proof Monroe Bill of Rights $5, both in original packaging for $460 each or about $9.00 over spot. I like to "stack" the modern $5 commemoratives because I can usually buy them for 2% or less over spot and sell them for spot or 1% below if/when I need some cash.

Thanks for the report.
Sounds like PMs were pretty strong there.
@tommy44 , your name reminds me of a story:
One morning a mother wakes up her son, and says, “Tommy, wake up, you have to go to school.”
Her son Tommy replies, “Oh, mom, I don’t want to go to school.”
She then asks, “Tell me two reasons you don’t want to go to school!”
He then says, “The teachers don’t like me, and the kids don’t like me. Tell me two reasons why I should go to school!”
She then says, “Because you’re 54 years old, and you’re the Principal.”

Thank you for the report and I’m glad to hear that the gold buffaloes are holding strong. Still my favorite pure gold bullion coin.
Thank you for the report. I believe bullion will be even stronger for the foreseeable future.... Cheers, RickO
Mustta just missed you! Was there from around 9:15-11.
What kind of a business model lays out $1,955 to make $20. I don’t care if it’s a 30 minute turn around that just seems too cheap. Especially with how quickly the gold market can move.
