Is it best to crack and send or just send it in its case? I have never cracked a card out.

You're never going to successfully cross this card over grade-for-grade.

If we are talking about a 1 to 1 one then I say yes. 10 to a 10 then I say no.

check what the card is selling for SGC, Then what the card would grade in the same grade and 1 grade lower in PSA . Then factor in the dollars to PSA to re-grade. If you send it in the holder(SGC) you are more than probably not going to get a higher grade. Crack it out and you roll the dice on possible trim. M/c etc. Like Handyman says , depends on the SCG grade now . If it's high grade it could cost 500 or more.

The is a card I am keeping and want it in PSA Holder I am willing to pay the $150 to cross it if it comes back the same grade as SGC then there should not be an upcharge. I just want to know if its better to crack it or send it in the SGC case. I think based on what I have read on other places it is best to cracked which is what I will do. Thanks for the help.

Must crack. Post it here, you will get an accurate sense on what it will cross to.

Doubt it make sense financially, and cards look great in the SCG slabs. So personally I'd wait for prices to come down at PSA. But to each their own.
