1934 Peace dollars: Guess the grades (Grade revealed**** in later post)

After the recent post and discussion relating to the lovely PCGS 65 1934 Peace dollar, I was thinking that it might be fun to look at some examples a little further down the scale.
Any guesses? Both are PCGS from some years back when I sent in a handful of 1934’s.

Very difficult to accurately determine from those pictures... lots of shadow.... I would say 63 and 64... Cheers, RickO

It’s hard to tell with the small images and suboptimal lighting. FWIW, I’ll guess:
AU58
MS63
58 and 63
58 / 62 but the photos make it too hard to tell whether these are high AU or low MS. Need to see in hand.
I am in the 58 and 63 camp on these two.

Top: 62 (might be a slider that got the benefit of an MS 62)
Bottom: 63 …nice luster but a few hits/marks on both sides that limit the grade a bit ….this is the nicer of the two in my opinion (and one I’d be happy with if doing a set of these)

AU 58 and
MS-62
To be honest with you, this submission was a real learning experience for me and a stark example of just how tough our host is in grading this series. I sent five or six of these in a few years back, thinking they were all lower MS and all except one came back as AU-58’s!
It takes a keen eye and close inspection to make out just the lightest rub on the 58’s.
It’s pretty subtle.

I’m still working out the kinks of a new system.
I thought I’d share this lesson, though it would have been more educational with better pics.
