Just got this baby. Next goal is the 4oz bar. I'm also looking for collectable silver bars in general. Reach out if you got any you wanna sell or trade.

Very nice silver bar.... I have been considering silver bars, but each time, a silver coin seems to get in the way.... .Like ASE's..... Just cannot pass up a deal on an ASE.....Cheers, RickO
Thanks RickO. Just got into them not long ago myself. This year I got a lot of ASE's with all the changes. Once you buy a couple you get hooked.

I had a 3oz years ago, sold it and have regretted it ever since.

Haha. Bought a few from people on here. I just want 1 of each, thats my goal. I know they got some weird size ones like 7oz and 100g. But yeah in general these vintage silver bars are addictive.

Nice Engelhard doubleeagle07. Realized prices for 3 oz bars have gone way up on ebay. Cool items are generally closely held so you have to forget about spot when it comes to price. Be alert for fakes. The allengelhard website is well worth studying if you are going to get serious collecting Engelhard items.

Was going to suggest the same about Allengelhard.. I have a 3 and 5 ounce old pours that are both represented on the site.. great reference! If you can't find it, you can email them.. very responsive
Yeah I know I paid a small fortune for it. Thanks for the advice. Even really obscure companies bars are going for way over spot. Someone on here is a contributor to that site so I can always ask them if im not sure.

This is my favorite Engelhard, a counter stamped example. All Engelhard did a write up on these a while back.
Made for ACLI International by Engelhard around 1968-70.

This 3 Oz piece was made by Engelhard for a long forgotten retailer.

Really nice. I love their poured bars the best.
