1955-D Washington for the Registry set
Here's one, PCGS MS66/CAC, for my Registry set. Finding decently toned D Washingtons from the mid-1950's is difficult. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

"decently toned" is the operative phrase. Lots of toned 1955-D's, just hard to find one with nice toning. I like yours but I finally bought an untoned one.

That’s a nice one!
Superior coin and excellent images.
I've come to expect nothing less, when you and Bob collaborate.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

I like it! How deep is that bullet hole in the eagles breast?
Those are superb pictures of your quarter.....Amazing detail. Cheers, RickO
Tough coin to find this nice.
That is a really really nice 55-D. Mine is also a 66 but is just plain white. Not very appealing. However, I really do like yours. Could there be a 66+ in its future?
A tough date indeed for mint set toners! Yours is very nice, @SkyMan !
Nice! I just posted a raw BU 55-D on eBay and yours truly puts that one to shame. You have a really nice coin there (and great photos)!!
Love it.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
Very nice coin. The 55-D 25c is tough in 66 and most of them seem to have way less luster than usual for a silver quarter. They look more like 1955 nickels. I have a white 1955-D in 66 and it has decent luster.
