Crossover Result!

TrueView just posted on my crossover submission, and it crossed! NGC Proof 66 RB -> PCGS Proof 66 RB. Sadly, there's some toning in the headdress that's keeping it from full RD, but I still love how it looks.

If the color in the TrueView is accurate, I don’t see the toning in the headdress being a reason for the RB, rather than a RD designation.

That's a great looking coin and certainly looks within the parameters of full RD to me.

Here's the original picture from the dealer, unfortunately the NGC holder was well scratched. It's slightly more accurate to the color in the headdress.

Beautiful coin. I think there is a lot of wiggle room in the RD-RB designation.

Wow that is a stunning coin. Is that a "C" clash in front of the nose/eye?

Might be worth having this one looked at again in the future for an upgrade to the red designation. I once upgraded an NGC holdered 12-D Lincoln that was red/ brown to a PCGS red designation at a major show. Sold it to a well known Lincoln Dealer for a $1600 profit at the same show. As kaz mentioned, there is some wiggle room between these designations.
