Hi guys, while visiting my LCS today, I seen these Sacagawea dollars displayed in this small boxed frame. I purchased it because I liked the toning and the possibility of the 2000p varieties? Yes, both coins are the 2000p. Here's what's great about this buy. The owner only charged me $2! Lol. So it was actually FREE. She's so good to me. When I got it home to open. I noticed the way they set the two coins inside. Ready?
Check it out. Lol.

Not a good idea!

Oh yeah, not any varieties. :/

Curious why the reverse was displayed upside down?
Also, that type of thick goo rubs off easily.

    Are either a Wounded Eagle?

No varieties. No, not the "wounded eagle." Thanks
As to, why the one is upside down? I dunno?

Why are you all assuming the Eagle was upside down? It all depends on the frame's orientation.
Maybe they are both meant to be sideways...

Other than your gamble for varities - now you know why she only charged you $2...

I actually think that's a great way to display pocket change...

compared to the many coins that sit in a SDB.

I knew they were going to be taped in. These are the rare Scotch varieties.

this is the sort of thing that comes into shops when collections are sold by heirs of older people who have died, the kind of stuff that has "TeleMarketer" written all over it. they usually come in fancy boxes with "COA's" that make them look special for only $29.99. your dealer "friend" may not have even paid anything for it.

Keets. Spot on. I think we can allow $2 for overhead and such. I feel you are correct and the problem is not a small thing. 👍🏼

Wouldn't it been something if one of the Sacagawea's would have turned out to be the famous Cheerios or Wounded Eagle?
    :D
Me and her (the owner) had made a deal earlier. If I was to find something cherry picking and really fantastic. That I would tell her!
