New Change Find -- 1984 Lincoln Cent DDO

I typically separate out my Lincoln center from my nickels, dimes, and quarters. I throw the cents in one large jug, and the rest into my antique fire extinguisher as a piggy bank. During the summer of 2020, I got bored and started looking through my jug of Lincolns. My only intent was to find the 1972, 1983, 1984, and 1995 cents and see if any were DDO/DDR. It turned out that I did find a 1984 DDO. I was a bit surprised at the time, but I just got the grade back from PCGS and it was graded MS65RB. I am a pretty happy guy. No pictures yet, as the grade just popped. I am just excited to post about it.
Long story short for the newbies (and oldies), don't forget to check your change from time to time. You never know what you will find.

I have yet to find any of those doubled dies. Of course I’m always looking on purpose though. Go figure.

I don't think they are as rare as it seems - I find all kinds of doubled dies on Friday and Saturday around midnight!
( It turned out that I did find a 1984 DDO. I was a bit surprised at the time, but I just got the grade back from PCGS and it was graded MS65RB.)

One day... I will get to checking my jug of wheaties and my other three jugs of zincolns........ Great find. When I read about finds like this, it gives me hope that I may have a treasure or two hiding in those jugs. Cheers, RickO
