One Morgan and one Peace product in 2022 - both S mint, and both proof finish.
What's your guess on the mintage for each? Over/under @ 250K
What's your guess on the price tag for each? Over/under @ $90

Even and even for both. Thank goodness for only two varieties so far.

I had someone return one that had a microscopic luster break. Can you imagine what they'd do with a bag mark?

I am betting they will have a reverse proof set. One or both coins

Why stop there. Enhanced reverse proof. Burnished enhanced uncirculated 😉
Last but not least. How about a colorized version. That certainly went well the first time with the basketball coins 😬

I think that might happen during the "and beyond" period, but not 2022.

How do you get the Mint's Christmas catalog?

Buy from the Mint. They'll send you one.

I got one in the mail yesterday, and I only ordered the Peace Dollars...

Is S mint mark confirmed for both? Couldn't find the literature on that.

The Mint could include this with them ;)

It's right on the MInt 2022 schedule.

They always were. Just because you were successfully cheating on your taxes, doesn't mean you weren't supposed to report it. Nothing has changed in IRS rules on taxability. NOTHING.

I'm good with them continuing the series, just not a fan of the proof idea. I'd like to see them more in line with the orinal appearance, not the dull silver look. Quality examples of the 2021s may be keys if the series continued and mintage increased.

Why are you accusing me of cheating on taxes??

Did I write something specific that indicated I was cheating on taxes or is slander something that comes natural to you?

Technically, it would be libel. It was a generic "you", not meant to be a specific "you".

You said that the IRS would now be involved as though the IRS isn't entitled to a share of all flipping profits now. There is NO CHANGE in IRS rules regarding coin sales.

Ok, You're correct - what you wrote is libelous and not slander

I accept your guilty plea of libel (if that's what you're admitting to) of defaming my good name!

    :p

There were no enrollments that generated a Morgan/peace order

How did people get so many then?

ABPP were allocated 10% of each offering…

I am sorry, what is ABPP?

Not particularly looking forward to the proofs next year. They'll be poorly defined because of the 60-grit snakeskin cameo.

There were traditional cameo mirror proof Morgan dollars made from 1878-1904. Only thing is to buy one and especially one with deep cameo contrast will cost you over $10,000 which means the overwhelming majority of collectors can never own one. At least the US Mint will sell them for around $85 which is a much better deal.

an S morgan proof and a peace proof in 2022. Remains to be seen if other mint morgan proofs will be added. 2022 mint product schedule has been made available

I think this is an amazing opportunity to own a proof Morgan and Peace.

A cameo Morgan and matte Peace would be the ideal way to market these. This way they are "true" to the originals, even though there aren't really any original proof Peace dollars intended for collectors.

Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

They will be minted in San Francisco. I wonder if they will have the S mintmark?

I really dont care which mintmark for the proofs. More concerned about the end result.

The Mint has a responsibility....proof Morgans are held in high regard.

It would be great to see them use the same method used when they made Franklins.

Agree, but I was referring to Cameo. Not many Peace Cameos.

Yeah, what was I thinking - nothing else in this program so far has maintained any historical accuracy (weight, content, purity, finish) - I guess branch mint proofs will fit right in.

I did purchase a Peace Dollar this year.
