I filled out my emailed request by PCGS.
Hope that I win one of their prizes for doing so.
Really hope that they implement my suggestions.

I got about half way through and decided it was taking up too much of my time. The only point I wanted to make was the outrageous turnaround times.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I would love to win also. Felt it was worth my time to tell them where I felt they could improve.

Way too long... the abandonment rate is going to be quite high.

Also annoying... most surveys use 1 for best and 5 for worst, this was the opposite. I had to go back and redo a # of answers. A couple of the ?s required answers and didn't offer an NA option. THose got poor ratings.

I was going to do it when I read the e-mail, but then I got a 2nd email for an old no longer in use account from years ago and realized that they are probably sending out this email to everybody. I didn’t like how they worded the email where it made it seem like only a select few were chosen to be asked and then sent the same to the old account that hasn’t been used in over a decade

Never got one - of course, I do my submissions through Heritage's Legacy Client Program. So, while I spend a bunch of money with them, they don't know who I am.

Got about halfway through and realized they were gathering a lot of "confidential" information that was none of their business so I abandoned ship.

They know exactly how many coins were submitted under the email they sent to request to and when those submission were made including the date of the last one. They know what coins/series were submitted. They know if I have any registry sets and what's in them. The rest of the "detailed" info they asked for could only be used for marketing purposes. Almost as invasive as the HA surveys. They only needed to ask two questions. What are we doing right? Where do we need improvements?

I sent mine in, as mentioned I didn’t like the 1-5 rating having 5 as best. It was a bit long but wanted my opinion on turn around times to hopefully be seen.

  • jesbrokenjesbroken Posts: 10,174 ✭✭✭✭✭

I sent mine in and truly have little hope anything will come of the suggestions. One suggestion was that they had a daily suggestion box that was answered via pm unless a childish suggestion which requires no response.

If I don't answer a question then let it go. Don't ask me for a response that wasn't offered. Completed the survey, next time into the trash 🗑.

They must be very short handed. I called yesterday and they told me hold time was maxed out and call back was full need to call back tomorrow goodbye. 😳

    Hoard the keys.

That happens alot because people are taking advantage of the call back option so the reps wind up making outgoing calls by the afternoon and can't take inbound calls. Best to call first thing in the morning 😉

someone should link the survey so we can see it.

  • mightyhuntermightyhunter Posts: 478 ✭✭✭

I did the survey. I seriously doubt that PCGS will listen to the results. Turnaround times are likely the biggest source of complaint. Just sayin...mh

I did mine, the options for some of the questions are a little strange.
    For example:

Where's the "Yes, as long as the pictures are adequate" option? I am going to assume they meant sight-unseen.
