Always thought it was strange that they schedule this show in direct conflict with Thanksgiving weekend. Would love to go but not over missing our family get together.
That's usually a good show. I'll be there some time during the weekend.
Show reports please... from all who do attend. I think it is scheduled like that because many people will have the four days off. So they plan on significant attendance. Cheers, RickO
I expect it will have good attendance. Collectors in the Detroit area are used to attending a show on Thanksgiving weekend.
There is plenty of FREE parking.
That was a great show in a great location back when I lived in the area. A group would go up, some for the show, some for the Black Friday shopping at Fairlane. Afterwards we’d meet back up and all go out for dinner before heading back to Ohio.

I have always wanted to go to that show. It is just too far to go in Winter.
That was that last show I ever flew with coins on. It wasn't long after 911 when all the travel crap was in full swing. Me and my travel companion did the private security screening. My friend was a platinum FF with Delta so we got to board the plane 1st...but not for me. They decided to do a random security check on me an proceeded to search through my inventory in front of everybody boarding the plane.
Never gonna happen to me again!
I'm not a dealer but there must be a good reason. I count 10 shows between Nov 13 and Nov 28, most within an hour drive from the metro Detroit area(Two in Grand Rapids). That time of year brings out wallets maybe??
Dealers here... does business pick up around Thanksgiving?
