Mom passed... post a coin dated 1930.

lkeneficlkenefic Posts: 8,169 ✭✭✭✭✭

My mom passed away after a lengthy illness and several weeks in Hospice care. She was 91 years old. She was born in 1930 and loved playing the piano... George Gershwin and Scott Joplin were among her favorites.

To commemorate, post a coin from 1930...

Rest in Peace, mom...

Sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom a bit over a year ago myself. It was the worst 6 weeks of my life watching her fade away while I provided home hospice. :'(

So sorry for your loss. Been through that myself, providing home hospice. Felt absolutely helpless. But it was the right thing to do, honoring her wishes.

My mom, who was also born in 1930, passed away 3 weeks ago. One never can understand what Alzheimer's does to someone until a family member is inflicted with it.

    Heartfelt condolences to you.
Yes, you are very right about the devastating effects of Alzheimer's and to see a loved one that is going through it really hurts all those around them.
My grandfather had it back in 1985 when it was practically unheard of and now my aunt is battling it. :s

Mom’s are the BEST! We all wish they would live to be 120! I lost my mom five days after I suddenly lost my wife of 46 years with no medical warning. For those whose mom’s are still here, let them know how much you love them, and how GREAT a mom they’ve been!!!!!
