How the heck did THIS get here?!!
resized.jpg)
I'm going through the depths of a box of miscellaneous coin related "stuff"... extra flips, 2x2's, some 90% silver, etc... trying to clear out and organize, and came across this. I have absolutely zero recollection of how I came by this "coin". I obviously used to have a penchant for Fast Food and I'm getting old... :-)
Post the last coin you came across the last time you "organized"...

This one is a single-staple original boys and girls!
I think it was this one

And the time before that it was this one
I don’t really remember purchasing these
Mr_Spud
I looked on eBay and those MacCoins are still selling - there is even one in an NGC slab.
These were all the rage, including here, a few years ago. I managed to get the full set, one Big Mac at a time.
Don’t recall seeing one of those Macdonald coins before.
As far as my own findings, this one stands out, though I’m always running across odds and ends from when I used to more actively deal.
I was emptying out a small cardboard box that bank checks are sent in, that I had some old flips etc in, and this popped out, laying in there loose.
I couldn’t recall where I bought it or price paid, but I was sure it didn’t look like this. The years untouched exposed to cardboard were kind to it!
What is this 'organize your collection' you speak of??
A strange concept indeed to me...
I get enough surprises just when I look around my desk for something 'I know must be here'.... Cheers, RickO
