I thought intentional damage and alteration of U.S. coins for overpriced novelty was all the rage on the forums here. Perhaps it is an avant-garde work. It takes just as much “artistry” to make this cent as it takes Carr to scan an image of a coin to alter only the last digit to make his “fantasy” works.
