peace dollar
make sure that is not soft plastic. soft plastic will cause a chemical reaction with the coin that will eat away and etch the coin.
It does look 65... may I ask what the purpose of removing it from the holder was?
Collector, occasional seller
Nice coin. Curious why you removed from the holder?

I put the coin in a Polyethylene Bags. I took the coin out because I like to handle coin in hand. The holder has a lot of scratches on it.
scratches on holders can be polished off.
MS 65 with a CAC sticker? Oh boy - I'd of left it in the holder.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Oh, well, to each their own.
It's a great looking coin but I would not agree that it has "no contact mark". I can see what appears to be some light scuffing on the eagle's jowls and neck. There are also slight luster breaks on the high points of many of the feathers.
Incidentally, sliding around in that soft plastic sleeve will only increase the contact/rub points.
Why not leave it in the slab and buy a common circulated Peace Dollar to touch?
I have no CAC I wish🤔 PCGS I would use this and google research as well as threads here So many different types of collectors 👍🏼

Cudos to the OP for taking it out of the slab to enjoy!
Just sitting here, biting my tongue...
Yup, you only live once. Enjoy that coin. Peace Roy

By taking the coin out of the PCGS MS65 holder with a sticker you greatly reduced the value of the coin. You now have a raw, common date Peace Dollar. The plastic and sticker adds value in today's market.
I am coming to appreciate that the market value of a coin is important, but not always the most important aspect of a coin.
OTOH, not sure why the OP wanted to make such a meal out of posting all the pictures of the reverse
I am all for raw coins, but why buy a PCGS/CAC and crack it out? A raw one would have cost less and felt the same in hand.
That's a very pretty and original looking coin, in or out of the holder and with or without the sticker. Some folks might agree or disagree with what you have done, but PCGS and CAC are definitely happy because that coin will someday be resubmitted!
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
You can buy something that covers up the scratches on the slab and it makes it look good as new!

Also, even if the reverse were perfect, it would not impact the overall grade. Split grades are not used anymore so the coin wouldn’t get extra value even if it were MS65/MS68,it would still be a MS65 coin.

The weakness in the strike holds it back. Great looking coin thou. I would have left it in the holder with that grade.

The reverse is nice, but it isn't flawless.
For the record, I have no issue with you cracking it out to enjoy it. Gem 1925 Peace dollars aren't so hard to find.
A bit lackluster and the distractions below (and to a lesser extend, above) the "O" in ONE help to hinder the grade. I'd be surprised if others thought this was a 66.

Ill make a bet right now, it reholders at a 64+
Now that it’s in a baggie I’m in for AU.

Nice looking dollar. Me, I would have left it in the holder as I don't trust myself not to drop it or mishandle it in some way.
Enjoy your coins as you like!
Nice P$1 and the flip you have it in is safe for long-term storage.
Your coin, your collection, your choice. I like handling the big gold coins, but have enough raw coins to satisfy my craving without cracking out my slabbed coins. Cheers, RickO
I have a couple of dozen silver eagles that were graded PCGS MS69 or MS70 that I have removed from the holders to put in my Dansco. Don't handle them but did crack them out.

This is a Peace Dollar not a Silver Eagle.. Dollars are .900 silver Eagles are .999 silver.
I've cracked out many coins over the years but I think I'd have left that particular coin in the holder... at MS65... and CACed... but, as others have already said... everyone has their own way of collecting. Enjoy...
