Does your view of the 2021 Morgan define you?

Does it define who you are as a collector?
My experience thus far: many collectors I have spoken with are less pleased than others, citing the lack of the traditional luster and instead having the “commemorative-type” (I know it’s not a commemorative) of surface strike,
Whereas others are all over it and best coin ever.
My passion for uncirculated silver dollars was always tied to that cartwheel luster effect of coins and the more the better... I wish these coins would have had more of that.

Possibly if you want CAC to sticker them like other Morgan’s!
There's a 2021 Morgan?
To answer the question: no.
I fail to see how one coin can define you.
I think the OP was asking about defining your personal taste and preference as a collector. I think the answer to some extent is yes. Personally I'm not a huge fan of commeratives. If I like a particular design I might buy one but my main interest in collecting has been the connection with history. 2021 isn't history for me. I have a few Morgans and one Peace dollar so a modern version of the coin so this modern replicas have zero appeal to me.
A little bit, maybe🤨🙀

Not sure any coin defines a collector.... I got the CC privy Morgan for what it signifies and to add to my complete CC Morgan set.... However, I have Trade dollars, Peace dollars, Ike dollars and all sorts of other coin series in silver and gold. So, definition gets hazy. JMO. Cheers, RickO
I definitely fall into the “less than pleased” category. The lack of any luster and the flat “aluminum foil” appearance looks out of place on the Morgan and Peace designs.

I haven't seen one in person but from photos I think they are very ugly and cheap looking, as mentioned they look like modern commemoratives. I hate the flat look and lack of contrast and frost.
