Absolutely! Compare the font and size of the remaining letters of "Trust" to non-damaged examples of the Large and Small Mottos.

I admit I have not seen a worse example!
The example is better. The picture is much worse. Trust me on it being a small motto. I even wrote it on both sides of the 2x2

Bought it before I knew about lg and sm mottos. I was so excited when I realized what I had so tried to convince myself my other 1864 was one, too (it’s not).
Well, it’s worth at least two cents.
yes, it is

Even if it is a small motto, it would not be a coin I would consider. The damage is excessive, ugly and unacceptable. Cheers, RickO
Large Motto - Small Motto??? Don't know and don't really care...........

You can attribute it from the leaf length under IN also.
I like it.
Where can I locate it so as to bid next month?

Perhaps PCGS won't grade it because of the active verdigris?

The 1st 2 cent piece - the ugly one, can not tell from the poor picture if it has 3 /4 feathers on yhr top side of the right arrow. 4 - SM. With a closer view the 4th feather might be seen.

The simpler marker is in the photo I posted.
Look for 2 long leaves at the left arrow (near N of IN GOD).
It has them.
The Large Motto has a short leaf on top, instead of 2 long leaves.
Maybe the middle photo in my array is confusing. It is of a different coin, that was posted a few years ago.
I believe it's a Large Motto.
