1990 and 1993 ASE proofs

These ASE's are technically my daughters'. My daughters were born in 1990 and 1993. While they like to look at a couple of my coins, they aren't coin people, and have left these coins at my place. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

Many proof Silver Eagles (among others; state quarters can really show this effect) also have very fine striations in the fields. You'll see them in hand, but they often show up en masse as little white marks in a photo since imperfections light up so easily on the otherwise very smooth proof fields (and to be clear, "imperfection" is used here to refer to slight texture in the metal; it's Mint-made and not damage/a problem).
I really like the ASE's... a beautiful coin, and in proof, truly exceptional. I was doing the series up until they skipped a year... Now I do get the special ones though. Cheers, RickO
