1969-S Jefferson Nickel “ check out the strike on this one”

Found in an OBW and all the others didn’t have even 1 step on them. Cool find!

Probably thinking Wrap. But an original bank wolf would be awesome.

Nice find... could use another step and minus the two dings... but still interesting. Cheers, RickO

  • Yea OBW “ original bank wrapped roll “ and I don’t get this lucky often but I sent it in to PCGS. I had to at least give it a shot! It’s in encapsulation so I will post the results when they come available

Pretty nice 69-S for a roll find.

What grade are you shooting for? Not an FS and the big gouge on the check and scratch in the field don't help. However, nice roll find

That’s an exciting find and much better than any 69 I have found.

It is a nice roll find and would look great in an album, I do not expect your grading results to be very good. Hope I'm wrong.

  • Yea I feel ya on the getting my hopes up for steps. In all fairness, the rare 60’s nickels that have FS attached to them 90% of em aren’t this nice on the steps so based on that it should get. But I’ve learned not to get excited and just cross my fingers and hope for the best. It would kill me to never submit and always wonder what if. So it’s in quality check right now. I’ll post the results today when they become available!

1968-S was worse. Believe it or not.

I remember when 1968-S was first released. The coins actually looked like someone took a wrecking ball to the steps and left rubble in its' place.
