Let’s revisit this conversation come Monday morning after the Chiefs lose to Green Bay and Jordan Love

You seem pretty confident perkdog. Confident enough to make an avatar bet?
I would change my avatar to Jordan Love or Aaron Rodgers or even Tom Brady for a week if the Packers win
if you change yours to a Mahomes avatar if the Chiefs prevail. Let me know. But just a head's up, I watch all
the Chiefs games and there definitely have been some subtle signs that they are now headed in the right direction.
Just have to know what to look for. So I really wouldn't advise you to make a wager on GB with an unproven QB
against the Chiefs at this time.

I will bet with you BUT the only avatar bet I will make is with Tom Brady as your Avatar if I win. It wouldn’t mean a thing if you had Rodgers or Love, I don’t care one way or another about them or the Packers.

I ran my mouth and will back it up by betting a Brady avatar vs your Mahomes avatar or Chiefs whatever you prefer me to take if I lose for a week.

Shake on it and it’s a deal

Aside from this I don’t hate on the Chiefs honestly I’m just calling it the way I see it. Absolutely no disrespect

Perk, its a deal! I think I lost a bet once before with you and had to do the Brady avatar. :)
If the Chiefs win a Mahomes or Chiefs avatar either will do.
I read your post and didn't think it would be fair if I waited until Sunday to see if the Chiefs win before I
commented about your post so I thought the avatar bet would be fun.
And I know you didn't mean any disrespect, like you said you're just calling it like you see it.
I like reading all of you guys posts about football, even keets who is highly critical of Mahomes and the Chiefs.
And I can't argue, they have really sucked compared to how they've played in the past.
But I do believe they are in the process of turning it around, if I'm wrong oh well I'm not going to be too mad
at them because they've given me a lot of entertaining football the last several years.

Ok Buddy we got a bet!

It should be a good game, I’m glad you don’t take it personally because it’s all of us armchair GM’s here yapping away anyways.

It should be a good game but the line jumped to 7.5 so most people think the Chiefs should take it.

Good luck and come Sunday I will post up with a Chiefs logo if they win. 🍻

So I guess the Chiefs answered this thread all by themselves with 8 straight wins.

Enjoy it @Darin . I never lost faith in your team. Every season is different. Mahomes is still a generational player. You still have Kelce, Hill, and Coach Reid.

Yep I was wrong and they are really playing well the past month and a half

Enjoy and best of luck, they should make a strong playoff run

Cudos to the Chiefs. They made the adjustments that needed to be done. Instead of relying on chunk plays they learned to be patient and work the ball down the field and realized they are just as successful without the 50 yard TD’s. The defense has played well in this stretch. They’ve stayed away from drive killing penalties and turnovers. No doubt they are a force again and unless some unforeseen disaster the road goes through Kansas City again.

The Chief’s stayed away from really stupid penalties that kill drives

You might need to rename this thread "Do the Chiefs win the Super Bowl easily".

showtime- I did really enjoy your posts in this thread, you kept saying it was too soon to write off Mahomes and the Chiefs.
I hope I didn't jinx KC by resurrecting this thread because they have a tough game against the Bengals
next weekend and of course Burrow just threw for an amazing 525 yards so his confidence will be sky high.

2deuces- I think the team that scares me the most is the Bills right now. I have a feeling they're going to win the
next two regular season games(I actually don't know who they play) and will peak at the right time.

I couldn't believe Lamar Jackson got picked for the pro bowl over Allen. Last I checked Lamar had 16 TD's and 13 picks.
Josh has something like 33 and 12 plus he has over 4,000 yards passing. And Jackson has missed I think 3 games.
I wouldn't have been upset if Allen was picked ahead of Mahomes but seriously it should have been
    Herbert, Allen, and Mahomes.

    Jackson 16 TD’s 15 INT 2880 yards 64% 767 rushing 2 TD
    Allen 34 TD’s 12 INT 65% 4000 yards 619 rushing 4 TD

Every game Buffalo has won has been by double digits including a 18 point win in Kansas City. Granted it’s before the Chiefs made adjustments. It’s a different Chiefs team that for sure. Every game Buffalo lost is by one score, games they won last year.
Buffalo has the 2nd rated defense in the league and not a single pro bowl selection. That was extra incentive Sunday as if they needed another reason to play better. Atlanta and the Jets at home to close out the season. Maybe they’ve had enough losing but with this newest Covid threat who knows who will be available.

    Showtime was the man!
Two years ago everyone was writing off the Chiefs, and showtime was the voice of reason. He was saying it was too soon to bury Mahomes and KC, and look what they’ve done since this thread was started. 😎😂🍺🥳
