    You’d think any 1/2 way decent faker would know that the first line of the ‘A’ is supposed to run underneath the ‘S’ … among other things.

    Looks fake to me too.... not that I've seen a huge number of these but, the surfaces give that cast copy feel...

    Are you sure about that, as John Adams Bolen's counterfeit Bar Cent was below the S and PCGS Coin Facts was above as was CoinWeek's. Not anything I am proficient at, so not being accusatory, but curious and hope someone far better acquainted with the Bar Coin diagnostics than myself.

    In the 1960s, this was one of the most commonly faked coins.

    Buying and Selling coins for 54 years, 700+ shows in last 20 years, and boy am I tired.

    The Bar Cent is another example of a coin that you should only buy if it has been slabbed by a major TPG. Fakes galore!
