Why is a Proof Clad Ike now required in the business strike LowBall Ike Registry?

I noticed this morning my set is no longer 100% (along with all other sets within this Registry). I checked, and I now see a 1974-S Clad Proof Ike is required as part of this set.
No other clad proof (or silver proof, for that matter) is required. Why this addition?

I guess the most simple, and likely most reasonable, explanation would be a coding error that can/will get fixed when PCGS is notified. Good luck!

    I've notified them.
My only explanation is there was recently a FA2 1974-S Clad Ike made with PCGS. Probably the owner of that Ike (only Clad proof known in low circulated grade) petitioned for it to be added to the LowBall Ike Registry.
My thinking is if the owner wants it in a Registry have PCGS make a clad and silver proof Registry. Otherwise, I honestly don't think it has any place in the current one.
Plus, there are no others and now it is impossible to have a complete 100%.

Good luck - I've recently tried to get Clad Sets created separately from Basic Sets and Silver Sets and was denied - the reason given was that "Clad" is a US Mint term...not a PCGS term - which would throw the entire Ser Registry of Proof Sets into a quagmire

The 1968 Proof Set has a similar issue - Roosevelt has only a single PR70DCAM and it's in the Top Set - so it's unlikely that the rest of the collections will ever reach perfection either - I have a PR69DCAM on the way but that's as good as it will ever get

The difference between the 1968 Proof set is although there is a single PR70DCAM there are hundreds of lower-grade samples for a registry.
The issue with this single PROOF coin being added to the Ike (business strike) registry is there is only a single example of ALL proof dates in ALL proof grades. There is NO opportunity to add another as none exists.

Pcgs should add clad proof sets to the registry.

I did receive an update via email:

    Hello Patrick,

I am currently checking on this inquiry with our Expert. It looks like someone had added this to the set in error? Ultimately, I will find out the answer with our expert. If he says to remove it, I will make the appropriate changes.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Best Regards,

    Paulina Cooley
