Can federal employees strike?
At the Mint, they do it all the time.
the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 prohibits federal unions from striking, as the work of the government is deemed too crucial to interrupt during union and management disagreements.
I've heard they even have double-strikes.
The strike can be very broad too.

sometimes they strike twice as proof of their striking
But only rarely does the strike seem off.

Well, I'm dumbstruck...
sometimes they strike until all they die, completely worn out
A lot of them used to strike out on dates all the time.
no wonder mint production seems slow... they are always striking
When they have a real problem with a date, they get repunched.
They strike so hard and so often, they must really want some relief!
How does management get 'proof' a Mint employee has participated in 2 or more strikes?
He's well struck!
OK, guys, ten strikes and YOU'RE OUT!
You guys got to do better than this. The world is watching
How do you know the strike is off? Somebody has to call it off!
Perhaps certify the strike?
🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
Well, I certainly didn’t get the initial joke. I have no sense of humor I suppose.
I’m getting old
If any of the Mint Employees smoke is this their brand of choice?
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
That's why mint workers rock at bowling.
It’s considered an error to strike with a cap
Everyone would have to wait until next year to get their expensive silver bullion
Q. In the early days of the Mint, why did the workers never strike?
A. They had more pressing matters.
Wait..what...someone just flipped me the feeder finger! That was uncalled for. Peace Roy

Ah the rare "proof strike"
Ounce by ounce the stack grows .
More original, and coin related too!
You guys are great!
Some who strike die - crack under the pressure...
