Are these 1984 pennies worth anything?

First time here, so I'm a bit confused on how to post.. sorry if I'm in the wrong place or anything!
Not really sure how to start, either, so I guess.. I've always liked collecting pennies, but I never really knew about all the potential errors/mistakes they can have.. normally I just keep the wheat pennies and chuck everything else into the Coinstar Machine. It's time for another trip to the Coinstar Machine, but this time I actually looked through the pennies for errors and there are a couple of pennies from 1984 that I thought were curious.
One (the 1984) is just SLIGHTLY off-center; it's barely noticeable in my opinion, but I photographed it next to a centered 1984 penny and it is indeed off by just a little. The 'TRUST' Part of In God We Trust is up on the actual rim of the penny.
(pictures below; the off-center one is the penny on the right)

The 1984 D looks like it's been through the mill and I almost gave it to the coin machine because I thought it had just been roughly handled, but upon closer inspection I noticed a few things that don't seem like normal wear and tear; the deep gouges in the penny, the smushed/faint '4' in '1984,' the 'LI' of 'Liberty,' and the 'IN' of 'In God We Trust.' The bottom of the '9' of '1984' is also pretty flat. There's a few marks on the back that could be similar damage as well, though not nearly as prominent.

Anyway.. I just thought I'd ask. I don't really have a use for error coins, so I don't plan to keep either penny, but I also don't want to go chucking an error penny in the coin machine by accident. Thank you for reading ~ and sorry that the pics aren't the best quality! ):

@lostinthevault... Welcome aboard.... You have your answers above,... do not get discouraged though.. It is possible to find unique coins in change... Doubled dies, rotated reverse etc.... Get a Cherry Pickers Guide (CPG) to check for anomalies. Cheers, RickO

Your coin is not considered off center unless struck out of the collar. No misalignment unless part of the design is missing. The other coin is just post mint damage.
Ah okay, thank you!
