OK, I'm new at this. Sometime tomorrow (Tuesday) during the day or evening, I'll reveal the grade and share some insights. I realize how easy it is to "cheat", so please don't!

A nice coin but a lot of scratches in the fields. I’d go MS-62.

I’ll give you my not even close to first wrong answer, even though I sort of get seated grading.

MS61 old standard / new Au-Ms62 little burnt form an old dipping that took some rub off. Seeing it is in an older holder I’ll guess 61

    Nice coin /date

MS 61 ...some disturbances in the fields and what look like somewhat limited luster.... a nice coin overall

    Nice coin and tough GTG!

Photos make it look like luster breaks in the right obverse field…..but, I’m still going to guess 63. It’s just too nice to be a 58, right lol.

I'd guess it at 58. If it is an unc, I'd say MS60-61.

What I see are a bunch of parallel scratches in the fields on the obverse and the bits of toning around the stars that show the color before it was dipped. Scratches in reverse fields as well. Coin looks well struck (e.g. lots of details in the stars) and I'm not seeing much if any wear on the high points of the eagle on the reverse. I would say a super strict grade would be genuine/cleaned but I don't believe you'd post a GTG like that. So I'll take a guess and say 63, because the scratches are in the fields not the devices, but a 62 won't surprise me. Do not believe it would bean unless it's a 60 or 61.

Disclaimer - this isn't my series (despite my avatar) so I am likely completely off.

    UNC details.
